Because of multiple reasons I had to create this page (it took me a whole month to finish this), but I have to say first:
This page is not to prove that the games are yuri games, they are just games that happen to have some lesbians, but you can't use the proof in this page to call the Neptunia games, yuri games. Just games that happen to have a variety of girls.
This page is not to prove that Neptune and Noire, or Nepgear and Uni are currently dating, or married or are girlfriends or something regarding them as them being couples at the moment.
This page is not to prove that anything of the above will happen later, it's a possibility for the games at the very end to end with them together, but we aren't sure it will or not, so it's not fair to declare either. At the moment the games don't have characters that have a romance on-going.
What is this page for then?
This page is to prove that the characters analyzed in this page are lesbians, just that, some of them even wanting to pursue romance eventually with a girl, but at the moment they don't have it. Plenty of people in the world are lesbians despite never dating or going out with anyone in their lives, as I said before this page is not to prove that these characters will ever do that, but to prove they are attracted to girls, just that. They aren't in a romantic relationship with girls, but they get turned on by girls.
Which means they can't do something hetero (with you or anyone) because they are attracted to girls, some of them to specific girls even.
But that's besides the point.
Wait no, it's not. That happens to be the very reason of this blog existence and the reason the sins aren't "things I don't like" so I don't report them because "I don't like them" or because "it isn't what I believe" or because "they go against my headcanon" but because are wrong and go against the sexualities of the characters established in the games.
Whatever.
Now I know what you're gonna tell me, why do I call Neptune and Noire "the main couple of the games" if I don't believe they are a canon couple at the moment. Because calling them that is just a short way to say "the 2 characters that the game mostly choose when they have to show 2 characters being gay to each other" and that's a constant in most of the mainline games and even some spin-offs, but those don't matter. The point is that these are the "2 characters that are most likely to end together at the end because of how the game use them together" even if it's not sure they will, they are "the main couple of the games" because they are a set of 2 girls (or couple) that the game mostly (or mainly) uses to show gayness, which together forms "main couple", it's not romantic couple, not right now at least. Again, I'm not saying they are a canon romantic couple right now. I need to repeat this.
Before we start, I have to clarify, each character from each dimension has it's own proof, it's not possible to use this:
Of course it's not possible to use official art from outside the games or any other kind of bonus material, because they are not part of the games nor of any dimension.
The dimensions that we will analyze are the superdimension, the hyperdimension and the ultradimension, the characters are:
- Neptune (Superdimension and Hyperdimension)
- Noire (Superdimension, Hyperdimension, and Ultradimension)
- Nepgear (Hyperdimension)
- Uni (Hyperdimension)
So, let's get started:
Neptune (Superdimension)
First we have this:
Neptune concluding that Noire loves her and teasing her about accepting her. Which raises the bar higher but is still not enough to say Nep really meant it. We also know:
That Neptune considers Noire cute, I know that Noire is indeed cute, but why mention it? Was it really necessary to add that part? It was just to tease her or to show some affection because she really likes her? Well, that's answered with the final piece of evidence:
Neptune getting jealous about someone else being lovey-dovey with Noire, she wasn't happy about the situation, she wasn't joking, she didn't plan this, she was pouting, and that cutely pouting comfirms that Neptune really wants Noire to herself, and put together with everything above (she saying she's cute, accepting her, and all those hugs) confirms it wasn't plain teasing, but actual romantic affection.
That's it for this Nep, now the next one:
Neptune (Hyperdimension)
There wasn't much in mk2 from her, but in VII:
Uni reveals Noire's true reason to come see her so fast, even leaving her work in the middle of the shift period for her, and Neptune gets a big smile on her face, to the point that even Noire tells her to stop grinning, another similar moment is:
When a Planeptune woman comments on the two of them, she smiles the same, even seems to have a bigger smile than before, but those are things someone else commented, what does she herself say about this? Well:
When she figures out Noire's feelings and teases her about them (that Uni confirms she's right about them) she is still smiling like in the pictures above, then she tries to make Noire be more honest with her feelings towards her, a straight girl wouldn't do this because a straight girl wouldn't want another girl to love her, but Neptune wants it and tries to help Noire be more honest about it. Finally we got:
Nep hugging and showing some affection towards Noire in the only form Nep can, because words are nice, but actions are nicer. In conclusion this Nep has most of the things her Superdimension counterpart has except the being jelly about Noire being lovey-dovey with someone that isn't her, but she compensates for it with she being more aware of Noire's feelings and actually trying to make Noire be more honest with herself about them, so this Nep isn't any less gay than the other.
That's it for the Neps, next are the Noires:
Noire (Superdimension)
There are plenty of scenes of Noire being tsun towards Nep, but there is also this:
It's important to note first that Noire is not only tsundere towards Nep, but she's also tsundere when the topic of conversation is Nep, she can mostly talk normally when Nep isn't involved, but drops her spaghetti otherwise. Then we also have:
The infamous pudding scene, with a CG that is cute and all and has some interesting bonding dialogue, but the most relevant moment is clearly:
When she feeds Neptune her pudding. Nep asked her for some, Nep could have taken the chocolate pudding with her own spoon, but Noire didn't let her, immediately Noire decided to feed her with her own spoon and right after she asked Neptune to feed her the egg pudding, it was all Noire's decision. All in all, Noire wanted all kinds of indirect kisses possible. A lot after that, we got:
Same picture as before, but this time for Noire. Noire enjoyed Neptune hugging her, she's tsun most of the time, but even she can find some time to be dere when Nep insists enough, and just enjoy herself while commenting about it.
After that we just have Noire being lovey-dovey with CC2 and Neptune being jealous about it, which was only necessary to prove Nep is gay, for Noire we already got more than enough with these moments in which she was honest and dropped the tsun for a short while enjoying herself and trying to get the most of Neptune possible inside her mouth.
We're done with the Superdimension, moving on:
Noire (Hyperdimension)
Starting with the classic mk2:
Noire having a heart above her head while thinking about Neptune visiting today, just lovely. And if you think this is a one time thing then you're wrong, because in VII:
She's mad that Neptune didn't contact her after she came back from the Zero dimension, the good thing about chirpers is that we can see the true feelings of the characters that they try to hide the rest of the time with their tsundere attitude, thanks to this we can see the inner workings of her mind. Yes, we can. And we can see how much Noire loves being with Nep. But how much she loves Nep? Well:Her SR card says she dreams and wants the scene her superdimension counterpart shared with Nep, looking up the night stars just enjoying each other company, that's pretty damn romantic. And yeah, it's pretty nice that she longs for this, but what about the things she said out loud? Uhm:
That's the thing, she never say her feelings honestly, and Nep points it out because she knows them and is okay with them as explained above, so we have to rely on other characters revealing her feelings and her secrets:
Or spy on her mind with the chirpers, and even if all of this is adorable and goes along with her tsundere personality, she actually has few moments in which she is honest about her feelings, one of them is:
She actually admits she was lonely without Neptune, when "lonely heart" actually admits her hated label you know something powerful just happened, aka Nep being her lovable little self managed to get the honest out of the tsundere, and it didn't end there, Noire added this line:
Which by itself isn't that strong, it's normal for a friend to be happy to see a friend, right? But together with everything above is a good finisher for this section.
But seriously, Noire admitting she was lonely without Neptune despite having just going through the whole K-sha's route makes this confession a lot more important (I don't have anything against K-sha, she's one of my favorite characters of VII, but poor girl, for Noire she's just another citizen, at most just another close Maker) if she was mad that Neptune didn't contact her when she was in the Zero dimension, while she still had everyone else with her and still was the leader of her nation, imagine how lonely she was without Neptune during this whole route, she even reaches the point that she admits it to her, that's not an easy feat, Noire being honest, she just flies at mach speed because she wants to see Neptune before anyone else when she's back from other dimension, she just wants to be there for her because according to her Nep can't do anything without her, she just wants to lie besides her on a romantic night looking up at the starry sky, is that too much to ask for? No, is it conclusive evidence to prove she is gay? Yes.
And with this we're done with the Noires in the best outfit, next is:
Noire (Ultradimension)
This Noire doesn't beat around the bush:
She plainly yells it's impossible for a man to be cute. Technically this line alone is enough to prove she is gay, I mean just a google image search of the picture:
Shows some interesting opinions from others old sites if you scroll down a bit, so I'm not the only one who thinks this line is relevant.
This line alone created several memes back in the day, it was, and it still is, so blatant is not even funny, since Victory came out it designated Noire as a man hating dyke even if she probably doesn't hate them, she just isn't attracted to them.
But.
Using single lines that don't reflect the rest of her behavior in the game is how sinners operate, the "evidence" they use isn't consistent with how the characters act during the rest of the game and that's the reason they don't truly have a valid argument and can't prove anything on their side, but I won't be like them, I'll prove that Ultra Noire consistently acts gay during the game and it'll mean the line above is consistent with her character and truly proves she's gay, let's start with:
Something simple, Noire reacting happily to the idea of a date with Plutia, at least for a second before reacting tsundere to it, which is equally good. No too much, but also not something meaningless. Next:
We have her getting jealous of Plutia giving attention to Nep, this happened a lot of times at the start of the game, but without doubt the most relevant one is the CG that shows completely Noire's jealousy towards them. After this we have:
Noire trashtalking men again, this proves that it wasn't a one time thing, it's consistent with her character that she simply can't bring herself to like men, and before you say it, it's not tsundere because tsundere implies there should be a dere, but there isn't, she never showed anything but negative opinions towards them these two times men appeared in a discussion, zero dere. Finally we got two things from one single scene:First Blanc calls out Noire on her gayness, Noire calls her back, but doesn't deny it. Then:
Blanc takes the initiative and hugs Plutia, which makes Noire jealous and then mad when Blanc smirks at her.
Noire and Blanc constantly fought for Plutia's attention during the game, but this scene, in which not only she didn't deny the affection she has for Plutia but also got mad at Blanc getting that affection, is clearly relevant. Combine this with all the other scenes above, the jealousy and what she thinks about men and it completely proves this Noire is also a lesbian.
And with these we're done with all the Noires, now it's time for the candidates:
Nepgear
The first time she showed her gayness, she wasn't even in her own dimension:
At the start she resisted it, but eventually Nepgear succumbed to the warm and cozy big breasts.
This happened again and again until she started being more open about it, and eventually completely admitted that she enjoys soft and warm breasts pressed against her face and her body. This is remarkable because it even got referenced in the anime and manga, even though those don't count, it shows how relevant this fact is for Nepgear character to the point that is carried to other media. I like them soft and warm too, but that's normal for any normal person sexually interested in females, Nepgear just happens to be one of those too. Also:
She had a small crush on Uzume while she was trapped in the Zero dimension, thanks to her moe gap between her true personality and the one she shows. After coming back:
She channeled her inner perVert and groped Uni's breasts in the bath to check why they were so big because she forgot that they shrink when HDD, but did she really had to grope them and then play with them to check that? No, she just wanted Uni's breasts, there is no other logical explanation of why she did it, specially because we know she loves breasts thanks to the above. Finally:
Besides the sexual side, there is also the emotional side, Nepgear relies constantly on Uni's emotional support since their debut in mk2, but the strongest scene showing it was naturally in VII, after all their development together here and back in mk2, Nepgear says Uni is "the only person she can rely on a time like this" when she's confused, when she's worried, when she doesn't know what to do or where to go, she relies on Uni and Uni only. If that's not love I don't know what is.
That's it for Nepgear, she's sexually interested in females and emotionally involved with them, which proves she's a lesbian. Now there is only left:
Uni
Oh, Uni, where can we start? She's the most blatant of all the girls in this site, she even never reciprocated when two different guys were interested in her, though her sister is still gayer. Let's start with:
This, she also has a small heart in a chirper while talking about Nepgear in mk2. Talking about hearts:
She again has one when Nepgear molests her in the bath (Tsunako should draw more expressive portraits instead of just throwing hearts when the characters love something or someone, whatever). Here she is:
Have one of Uni's weapons re-painted on Uni's inclination. At this point everyone can see Uni's feelings, even NPCs:
The first two boxes are cute, but they don't really prove anything, the third and fourth one are the relevant ones that prove even this admirable admiral can see Uni's smile when she's with Nepgear. Finally:
Remember what she said in the previous game to Nepgear? Sure Uni, sure. An honest Uni is the best Uni, and with this I rest my case.
I'm not even halfway done with Uni, there are tons of moments in which she was (almost) as tsundere as her sister to her planeptunian counterpart, but it's clear just the moments in which she were honest and her feelings were shown in the open are enough to prove she's a lesbian.
And we're done.
Summary
What just happened here is that I proved these 4 characters are lesbians, I didn't prove they're couples right now or that these are yuri games, none of that stuff, just that these 4 girls in all these dimensions are lesbians, they aren't interested in hetero, so all the sins are justified now, they have nothing to do with my opinion or what I personally believe, all of this is what the games establish. So now it has been proved that Neptune, Noire, Nepgear and Uni from these dimensions are lesbians thanks to the evidence provided here.
If you want to argue against any of this words alone won't work, you dismissed words for hundreds of threads, so your words will get the same treatment if you attempt to use them against this. The only possible thing you can use to argue against pictures from the games are pictures from the games, all the characters have at least 4 pictures in each dimension to prove their behaviour is consistent in their dimension, so if you want to disprove them you have to use at least 4 pictures from the same dimension in which that character does consistently hetero things throughout the whole game, not just an isolated scene, or you won't have an argument. Anybody can use words like "delusion" or "headcanon" to dismiss anything on this page, but you, the person using it, know as well as anyone else that you aren't disproving they are lesbians at all, and you aren't proving they are hetero either, you're just ignoring what is in front of you because you can't fight back.
Your move.
Really mad at Nepgear because she is not listening when she's trying to explain why she isn't worried about her. No comment. Can't forget when:
She went full masochist for Nepgear after training with Tekken. Focusing now on VII, before the game was even released:
The quote in her profile in the official site is a quote directly from the game, this is the same for every character, but if even the devs pick this quote to show her personality in her profile, it's clear how relevant Nepgear is for her character. Now into scenes from the game:
We have Noire pulling the same thing that Uni pulled on her, in a payback of some sorts she revealed her feelings, Nepgear wasn't even there, did you really have to do that, Noire? Well, it helps my case, so it's good. If you want to see Uni's feelings materialized, then:Have one of Uni's weapons re-painted on Uni's inclination. At this point everyone can see Uni's feelings, even NPCs:
The first two boxes are cute, but they don't really prove anything, the third and fourth one are the relevant ones that prove even this admirable admiral can see Uni's smile when she's with Nepgear. Finally:
